We have become a nation crippled by divisiveness, factions, and polarization.
Even our churches criticize the beliefs and practices of other Christian denominations and congregations instead of working towards the healing of divisions and working towards unity. The evening of Sunday, January 22, 2023 will be a time of prayer and repentance for the scandal of disunity as we hear pastors from three traditions “share the pulpit” and preach on the need for unity in the Body of Christ.
Fr. Michael Ackerman was ordained to the priesthood in 2014, having earned hisS.T.B. in Theology and Master of Divinity degree from Catholic University of America. He currently serves as Pastor at Resurrection Parish in Bethel Park/Upper St. Clair and co-chaplain of Seton LaSalle High School.
Terry Timm earned degrees from Duquesne University (B.S. and M.Ed in Music), Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Northern Theological Seminary (D.Min.). He serves as lead pastor of Christ Community Church of the South Hills and is a vocational coach, working with people to discover their call. He and his wife Patty have four adult children and four grandchildren.
Nate Devlin is a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Geneva College (B.A.’98) and Trinity School for Ministry (M.Div. 2005 and D.Min. 2012). He has served at Beverly Heights Presbyterian Church for
19 years as seminary intern, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, and since 2018 Senior Pastor. Nate and his wife, Holly, have three children.
