Hello Everyone!

The summer is beginning to wind down for all of us. A wonderful way for us to celebrate the summer is the Parish Picnic. Each year, we come together, share Mass, a meal, and visit with those we see across the pews each week. The kids play games on the field or on the playground, and enjoy their friends both new and old.

This year, on Sunday, August 18^th, we will begin with “Mass on the Grass” at 11:30 a.m. Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket as we gather together on the Ave Maria Academy Soccer Field located behind St. Thomas More Church. After Mass is concluded we will move over to the front of the school, where we will have Burgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans,                Mac N’ Cheese, and Coleslaw. There will be multiple dining tents with tables and chairs for everyone to gather. Be sure to stop by the cookie table. We have had generous parishioners sign up to donate cookies, and they are sure to be delicious! 

We are also blessed to have Jim Shea and Band back again this year, providing us with some tunes while we enjoy the afternoon! This will be an awesome day all around, don’t miss it!!!
