Faith Formation Registration: 2024-25

  Traditional Classroom Sessions
  Sundays 9:15-10:45 a.m. @STM for grades 1-8, Sunday 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th GRADES ARE FULL
  Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 p.m. @STM for grades 1-8
  
  Home School Catechesis for grades 1-8
  Our families have the opportunity to teach their children the faith at home
  while using our curriculum, resources, and materials.
  Students, under the direction of their parents, will follow a syllabus and submit
  completed assignments online in accordance with the faith formation schedule.
  
  Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I
  ages 3-6 (preschool & kindergarten)
  *3 year olds must be bathroom independent
  Tuesdays 9:30-11:00 a.m. @SJC
  Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC (full)
  Thursdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC
  Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level II
  1st, 2nd & 3rd grades
  Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC (full)
  Thursdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. @SJC (full)
  Level II CGS will be limited to those children who have been in Level I CGS and are moving up to Level II,
  as well as to those children who were in Level II CGS for first and second grade.
  Religious Education Program for Children and Teens with a Developmental Disorder
  (Autism and/or an Intellectual Disorder)
  This program begins with a large group, then each student is paired with a teen mentor for individual instruction. Mentors are taught how to teach and model typical adolescent behaviors and mannerisms.
  These classes are from a curriculum approved by the USCCB.
  Sundays 8:00-8:45 a.m.

  You must be a registered member of Resurrection Parish to enroll in our Faith Formation Classes.
  The Diocese of Pittsburgh requires two years of formation prior to the celebrations of First Eucharist and Confirmation.
